Spark Energy was founded in 1988 with the objective to engineer, produce and deliver products and services for the production of energy and energy efficiency. Always with high attention to quality, in 1991 the company decided to introduce the first quality manual according to ISO 9000 standards.

Cogeneration Development: consolidating the experience in the production of electricity, Spark Energy focuses on cogeneration, starting to project, build and install the first systems with the aim of providing

systems for the production of energy-efficient, with a strong impact on the environment. In 1994 the company projected in the international market, expanding its presence in Europe and worldwide, thanks to a careful investment policy confirming its international orientation. From 2001 to 2009 represent the years of a quick consolidation and wide expansion.
In 2010 Spark Energy became part of DSF Group.
